| WELCOME to southern Ohio's All-Breed Dog Club Website! |
| For the past few years, its been the opinion of many southern Ohio area residents that our area needs an organization brought together dedicated to the love of dogs & making them acceptable members of our society. In November 2009 this project was started with a handful of dog lovers serious about seeing such a project as this succeed. Research was done and plans made to have all documentation done for eventual licensing with the American Kennel Club AND the United Kennel Club so that we may be able to hold licensed events here in our geographical area in the future . Without the dedication of true dog lovers, this non-profit dog club would not even be possible. Thank you to all who decide to be a part of this ever-important project in an otherwise dog-education poor region of southern Ohio! |
| 2010 Elected Officers of Southern Ohio All Breed Dog Club All officers of the club were elected by their peers within the dog club in February 2010 and have had experience in organizations such as dog clubs, 4H, working with the public, etc.

| What are the Club's Goals? It is the club's goals to offer something for the members of the Ohio River geographic location a safe, neutral location to come together for training & socializing of dogs and puppies, to get friendly advice, & have discussions with fellow dog lovers. Training offered will be anything from informal basic obedience for pet owners to preparation for AKC/UKC Obedience and Conformation Showing. The Club is open to any breed, including mixed breeds as well as pure breeds. The club also wishes to see official licensed events being offered in this geographic location so that people who work hard to train their dog can achieve something worthwhile without needing to travel several hours to find a show or trial. We expect to have all documentation needed to get approved for licensing with the AKC & UKC by November 2010. If you wish to obtain a copy of the club's rules and bylaws, just contact us. |
